These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of BathroomReno.com and any related pages, features, and services (collectively, the “Site”). BathroomReno.com (“BathroomReno.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Site. Please read these Terms carefully.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Site — including by browsing contractor listings, requesting an estimate, or submitting your details — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of another person or an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. What BathroomReno.com is

BathroomReno.com is a directory, information, and matching service that helps homeowners discover and connect with independent local bathroom renovation contractors across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We are not a contractor, builder, general contractor, tradesperson, or home-improvement service provider, and we do not perform, manage, supervise, inspect, or guarantee any renovation, construction, design, or contracting work of any kind. Our role is limited to providing information and facilitating an introduction between you and contractors. When you request an estimate, you understand and agree that we may provide your project and contact details to up to three (3) independent contractors so they can contact you about your project. Contractors pay us a fee to be connected with you in this way.

3. Independent contractors; no endorsement

Contractors listed on or matched through the Site are independent third parties. We do not employ, control, direct, or supervise them, and they are not our agents, partners, or representatives. Any listing, ranking, badge, or description does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee by us of any contractor or of their qualifications, licensing, insurance, workmanship, conduct, pricing, or availability. Any agreement, contract, payment, scheduling, or other dealing is solely between you and the contractor; we are not a party to it.

4. Estimates are informational only

Any cost estimate, price range, calculator output, or similar figure provided on the Site is a general, automated approximation generated from our own internal data and assumptions, for informational purposes only. It is not a quote, bid, offer, appraisal, or guarantee, is not binding on us or any contractor, and actual project costs may differ substantially. You should obtain written quotes directly from contractors before making any decisions.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Site. You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any contractor, including independently verifying their licensing, insurance, certifications, references, reviews, and suitability, and for negotiating and entering into a written contract directly with them before any work begins or any money changes hands. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information (including contractor information, which is supplied by the contractors themselves or compiled from public sources) is complete, current, or accurate. 7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BathroomReno.com and its owners, operators, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for the contractor you choose, the quality, safety, timeliness, legality, or outcome of any contractor's work, or any act or omission of any contractor. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or property, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or any dealing between you and a contractor, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations, so some may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BathroomReno.com and its owners, operators, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute or dealing between you and a contractor.

9. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, design, text, graphics, logos, and marks are owned by BathroomReno.com or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without permission. Project photographs and contractor materials remain the property of the respective contractors.

10. Third-party links and content

The Site may link to third-party websites or display content provided by third parties (including contractors). We do not control and are not responsible for such websites or content, and linking does not imply endorsement.

11. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
